Twelve straight answers.

What it costs, who does the work, how we use AI, who owns the accounts, and how fast you can start. Twelve questions answered without the hedging.

▸ Working with us

Who actually does the work?

Senior people. CraftFrame is a lean studio of specialists with 25+ years each — there are no junior account managers between you and the work. The person who scopes your project is the person who runs it. AI handles volume: research passes, reporting, creative iteration, QA sweeps. Strategy, architecture and creative judgement stay human, because that is where the value sits.

What does an engagement cost, and what is the minimum?

Retainers start at £4,000 a month. Fixed-scope programmes typically run £40k–£90k depending on markets, channels and build complexity. You will get a number in the scoping call, not three weeks later in a deck. If your budget does not fit what you need, we will say so on that call rather than shape a proposal around it.

Sprint, retainer or embedded — which fits us?

Sprint for a defined outcome with a deadline: an audit, a launch, a tracking rebuild. Retainer when you need continuous strategy, media and reporting. Embedded when you have an in-house team that needs senior capacity rather than an agency. Most partnerships start as a sprint and continue as a retainer once measurement is in place.

How quickly can we start?

Typically 5–15 days from brief approval. The variable is access — platform permissions, analytics and tracking complexity — not our availability. You will have a dated timeline during scoping.

What is the contract length, and how do we exit?

Retainers run a rolling three-month term, then 30 days’ notice. Sprints are fixed scope, fixed price, fixed date. No auto-renewing annuals and no exit fees. If it is not working we would rather hear it at month two than month twelve.

▸ How the work runs

Do you handle creative as well as media?

Yes. Creative direction and testing sit inside the performance system rather than beside it — angles come out of the data and go back into it. Production runs in-house or through trusted partners depending on format and volume.

Do you work alongside our in-house team or existing agency?

Often. We are usually brought in for the layer a team does not have — measurement architecture, creative testing structure, AI operations — while the in-house team keeps the day-to-day. Who owns what is defined in week one, so there is no overlap and no gaps.

What reporting do we get, and how often?

A live dashboard from day one, a weekly written sync, and a monthly performance review with prioritised actions. No black-box reporting: you keep access to every platform, and every number we quote traces back to a source you can open yourself.

Which platforms do you specialise in?

Google Ads, Meta, programmatic, GA4, CRM and email — plus DOOH, audio and video on demand where the category justifies them. Platform selection follows the audience and the maths. It is never a prescribed stack.

▸ AI, ownership & trust

How exactly do you use AI — and what stays human?

AI does the volume: research sweeps, first-pass creative variants, reporting, anomaly detection, QA. People do the judgement: strategy, positioning, creative direction, and every decision that reaches a client. Nothing generated goes out without a named person reviewing it. We run a written AI governance policy and keep an approval trail for every AI-assisted asset — you can see both before you sign anything.

Who owns the work, the accounts and the data?

You do. Ad accounts, analytics properties, domains and pixels are set up in your name, not ours. Final deliverables transfer to you on payment. If we build you a system or a dashboard, it stays yours — including after we stop working together.

Can you share named case studies?

Where the client has given permission, yes. Where they have not, we publish anonymised results and share the underlying verification — platform exports, dated reports, screenshots — under NDA with qualifying prospects. We would rather show you a number we can prove than a logo we cannot.
